| Vision Clothing Company was unleashed in late 2007, but has been in the making since 2004. The creator, Paul Cooper, of V.C.C. returned home from various stints in the college football arena. His father owned a small printing business in Salina and Paul began working for him as he had as a youngster. Paul started creating his own design work after hours on his computer. He began working with a few names like P.C. Diggs and Digital Dialect, but Vision Activewear became the name that started sticking. The name was then changed to Vision Clothing Company. There were many reasons that Paul decided to pursue this venture. One was that he was given artistic skills from his father who graduated with an art degree. Another was the fact that everything that was needed to do this was at his fingertips with his fathers business. The main reason though is this, he needed t-shirts to wear around the town. After logging onto many popular t-shirt corporations websites, he realized that t-shirts were a little pricey. He noticed that most shirts were selling for $20-$25 a pop. He knew what the price of a shirt was and wondered how these large manufacturers were getting people to pay so much for a t-shirt. Paul is not a master graphic designer that lives in New York who brings down a six figure salary. He is however, an athlete, musician, and aspiring business owner who lives in small town america. |
